Hello Alcoa Swim & Dive Families,

We hope you have a restful week lined up, I know I need one! Here are the most important things you need to know for this week:

• Results have been posted for our meet vs. Lenoir City! Lots of great swims and some learning lessons too. Do not get discouraged if you did not drop time in an event…this is the building phase where we are working very hard on skills and stamina. We will start resting up next week for a slight mid-season taper.
• We have yet to receive the meet information for Ray Bussard on December 13th that we were hoping to have by this weekend. Since it is getting close we are going to go ahead and open RSVPs with the assumption that High School swimmers will have an AM/PM Prelims/Finals session and Middle School swimmers will have a singular timed-final afternoon session sometime between 12-3, all at the UT Aquatic Center. (This is how this meet has been run in the past.)
  • PLEASE RSVP for Ray Bussard Invitational as soon as you can. We expect ALL swimmers and divers to participate in this meet unless you have a conflict that has been discussed with coaches.
  • We also expect all swimmers/divers to participate in the KISL Championship on January 23 (Diving) and January 24 (Swimming). Please make sure to go ahead and put that on your calendar now and plan on attending!

• Practice Schedule for this week is the same for Monday and Tuesday (7-8pm.) We have moved practice time up to 1PM on Wednesday and Friday. There will be no practice on Thanksgiving. Please remember to RSVP for practices on the Heja App!
