Alcoa Swim and Dive

Selena Coker is a management wiz. With her ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner, Selena is able to keep everyone on track and well-informed. Selena is newer to the sport of swimming but has had a deep-dive in all things swim related over the last 8 years with her daughter Carson, who will be a Senior Captain on the team. Selena will be stepping into the coaching role on deck when needed.

With over 35 years of experience in the sport of swimming as either an athlete, coach, or official, Hana will be our main practice coach. She is currently a staff member at Alcoa Intermediate School and has a daughter, Miller, who will be a Junior on the team. She is a USA and NCAA certified swim official, 2-time High School Academic All-American, Southern Zone Record Holder, Junior National Finalist, High School 6 event record holder and a member of the Southeastern Swimming and Dobyns-Bennett High School Halls of Fame.

Many of you may have met Adrienne at our first annual "Santa Hat Splash" where she was our guest announcer! Adrienne spent the greater part of her childhood in North Georgia swimming USA and is excited to bring her expertise to help with our new Middle School program. She is a die-hard Alcoa fan-go Tornadoes!

Continuing the tradition set by Senior Captain 2026 Ethan Scruggs, Carson will be our Assistant Middle School coach this year. She has coached for Green Meadow Swim Team as a Junior and HS Coach for 5 years and currently also serves as a lessons instructor for Prime Aquatics. Her ability to help with one-on-one technique and foundational skills for our newer swimmers will be invaluable as we grow our team!
