Alcoa Swim & DIve- Week 17 Email
Hello Alcoa Swim & Dive Families,
What an amazing season for our little swim team! Bringing home 1st Place in our High School Division at City Meet is truly a testament to all of the hard work our swimmers and parents have invested this season. The first year for the middle school swim team has also been a huge success and we look forward to an even bigger team next year. Every drop off, volunteer shift, sponsorship, and meal provided has been integral to the success of Alcoa Swim and Dive! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Big Congratulations to our HS Swimmers who qualified for the 2026 TISCA State Championships this season! The following athletes will represent both Clayton-Bradley Academy and Alcoa High School at the State Championships on Feb 6/7th in Nashville. This meet will be live streamed via www.swimnac.com

Here are the important things to know as we have our final week of the season:
- We are still waiting for information about the potential rescheduling of the Middle School City Meet. We will update with more information when it is available. Until we receive official communication regarding the meet, we will consider our season concluded after this weekend’s HS State Championship. If the Middle School City Meet is rescheduled, we will resume practices as soon as possible leading up to the new date for the meet.
- All HS Athletes attending State in Nashville should check our website HERE for information regarding the meet and parents should pay attention to the group text for pertinent information. TISCA has sent the following reminders for you to make sure to review:
- No flash photography at the start of races;
- No cameras of any kind behind the starting blocks (violating this rule can result in dismissal from the meet);
- No sitting on the awards podiums during finals - keeping these clear will be a great help to the meet admin crew as we stay on timeline during the finals sessions;
- The pool deck access point closest to the scoreboard (steps from the bleachers) will be closed during finals - athletes need to use the steps by the bulkheads instead;
- No deck changing;
- Parents who are not coaches may not access the pool deck while the meet is in session - only coaches should speak with officials or the meet admin team.
Please make sure to fill out our END OF YEAR SURVEY. We want to improve, and your ideas matter! Please let us know what you would like to see in upcoming seasons.
Coach Selena has reached out about some final financial obligations. Please make sure you get those taken care of as soon as possible. We are tying up loose ends for the car wash fundraiser.
We know that there is a lot of uncertainty for our Middle School team and we hope to be able to resolve that soon. We do plan to have an end-of-season banquet, so stay tuned for more information. Please reach out via the Heja app or email [email protected] if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Coach Hana, Coach Selena, Coach Adrienne, and Coach Ethan
