Alcoa Swim & Dive- Week 14 Update and Info for Last Home Meet

Hello Alcoa Swim & Dive Families,

Tomorrow is our last home meet, so we are sending out our weekly email a little early. Our Meets page has been updated HERE and we have published Heat Sheets in the Swimtopia mobile app. (Additional information is below and Heat Sheets and Athlete Events are attached.)

Here is what you need to know for the upcoming week:

IMPORTANT- RSVP for the 2026 KISL Championship is open. We expect ALL swimmers and divers to participate in this meet as it is the most important meet of the season for our team. We will be having discussions with your athlete in the upcoming week to determine their events. We will post information to our meets page HERE as we receive it.

Please continue to get to practice and RSVP using the Heja App. Our last practice will be January 22nd unless you are a High School athlete who has qualified for State.

INFORMATION FOR TOMORROW:

Please arrive between 1:45-2PM

Stretch will begin at 2:10 and we will warm up at 2:25.

The meet begins at 3pm and our timeline has our last event around 5:15pm. (Please disregard any information through the app that might state start time as a different time.)

We will have a special guest announcer and photographer to capture this special meet for our Seniors, and will honor them with a short ceremony during the Diving Break.

Thank you to all of our parents who have signed up to help with the meet. Workers Meeting will be at 2:30PM. Please be flexible with us as we may ask additional parents to help with the meet since we are hosting.

Uniform: Please wear Black Team shirt and team (or non-patterned) suit. Technical Suits ARE okay for HS swimmers attempting State Cuts, but not recommended otherwise. Technical suits are not okay for MS swimmers no matter the age. It is also recommended to bring warm clothing and dry towels to keep our bodies warm on deck in between events.

Parking: Please be courteous of Green Meadow guests. You may park in the upper lot, but please do not park on the grass. Carpool if possible, as parking may be limited.

Nutrition: Please make sure to fuel properly ahead of the meet and bring electrolyte drinks and snacks. We will provide some small snacks and drinks if needed.

We are ready for some fast swimming as we enter the final weeks of our season! As always, reach out via the Heja App or via text message should you have even the smallest question.

We will see you tomorrow!

Coach Hana, Coach Selena, Coach Adrienne, and Coach Ethan
