Hi Team!

We had some amazing swims this weekend and wanted to share a recap of the 2025 TISCA State Championships. Again, we are so appreciative of Misty and Mark Scruggs for fulfilling our volunteer requirement this weekend. Diver Edwin Odom came home with a big 2nd place overall! He also bettered his own Alcoa 11-dive record with a final score of 465.40. Way to represent, Edwin!

We also had some great swims. Our girls placed 26th in the 200 Medley Relay and 23rd in the 200 Free Relay. We also had some great individual swims:

• Carson Coker placed 44th in the 50 Free and 36th in the 100 Free
• Tori Goff placed 37th in the 200 IM and 25th in the 500 Free
• Margaret Murray placed 53rd in the 200 Free and 58th in the 100 Back
• Miller Rothenberg placed 58th in the 100 Fly and 39th in the 100 Breast
• Ethan Scruggs placed 38th in the 200 Free and 25th in the 500 Free

Overall we placed 41st in the combined team score out of 123 teams, and we could not be more proud of the program that we are growing. Thanks to all of our athletes, parents, sponsors and volunteers for what has been a remarkable season. We hope you will all continue to swim either with USA or summer league teams (info will be on our website) and stay plugged in for information regarding our upcoming swimathon fundraiser. One last time for 2025- Let's goooooo Tornadoes!
