• If you have not already, please RSVP for our meet on 11/17. Note the time and location for this meet has changed due to the Student Aquatic Center being closed unexpectedly. If you are unable to attend, it is important to indicate that as well. Jobs are open, so parents please sign up to volunteer!
• Our Pokey’s store is open HERE until next weekend! Please feel free to send the store link to friends, family or others who want to support our team.
• THANK YOU for all your hard work obtaining Sponsorships! These sponsorships are vital to being able to run the team. We will be providing the kids with Thank You Notes to send personal messages of thanks to our sponsors this upcoming week.
• Our Team T-shirts will be in the works as soon as we receive logos from all our sponsors. We will let you know as soon as possible when those will be ready to go.

A few things of note:

Next Friday evening, November 14th, diver Edwin Odom will be participating in the weekly KISL Dive competition at UT Allan Jones Aquatic Center. The meet is at 6:30 and we welcome any of our teammates to come and cheer him on.

On Thursday, November 21st we will have a group social event at Allan Jones Aquatic Center to watch the finals of the University of Tennessee Volunteers Fall Invitational-an NCAA Championship-style meet featuring some of the best swimmers in the world right in our backyard. Tickets are free, parking will be TBD (we will need to try to carpool if possible), and we should plan to wear our Alcoa gear.

We have a fun announcement! Our December 15th meet will be our first Annual “Santa Hat Splash!” We hope to bring the Holiday Spirit, so start collecting all your funny sweaters, hats and other gear to stay cozy in between events. The uniform rule has been waived-so if you’d like to wear a Holiday themed suit go for it! This will be our last meet of the year, so let’s have some fun.
